  • I am a registered social worker, Canadian Certified Counsellor, and have three degrees: one in Political Science, another in Social Work, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I have had several employment experiences that have led to working with assorted populations within unique settings, like over a decade of experience working with children, youth, and families in various settings and in the field of corrections.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, meaning I will adapt to the client’s needs and preferences. Common therapies I use in my practice are Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. Most importantly, I work from a collaborative and strengths-based approach with individuals, employing their distinctive strengths, respecting context and circumstances, working within their frame-of-reference. Everyone has a life story with unique experiences that informs our respective worldview and how we understand ourselves; therefore, coping, growth, and healing is a unique endeavour. With intentionality, the hardships we encounter within our stories is a chance to be more resilient and grateful.

I honour anyone who has the courage for introspection, build self-awareness, and pursue positive change. I trust you will find my approach to be relaxed, non-judgmental, sincere, curious, understanding, and empathetic. Welcome!
