Our Unique Healing Approach

Our team of warm, compassionate, and heart-centred therapists offers a safe and supportive space for you in-person and online to feel heard and seen, and explore life’s most painful experiences without judgment or criticism.

We value holding space for you to share your story, express your emotions, challenge your beliefs and behaviours, honour the uniqueness of your loss(es), and identify what is emotionally incomplete in your life.

With gentle guidance, we will support you in taking small and intentional actions to not only heal from the pain of loss, but also to live more presently, make new choices, and (re)claim your sense of meaning, purpose, and happiness in life.

Having a clear road map is fundamental to your healing journey.

We utilize evidence-based methods that successfully facilitate healing and recovery from painful and traumatic losses of any kind. These methods are effective both face-to-face and online. We’ve personally experienced the positive impact of The Grief Recovery Method®, EMDR, and Somatic Therapy in our own lives and have witnessed the transformative power in the lives of thousands of people we have served since 2013.

EMDR THERAPY

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an integrative therapeutic approach that has shown to effectively facilitate healing and recovery from painful and traumatic memories. It helps to reduce the level of distress associated with painful experiences by integrating and desensitizing fragmented memories, nightmares, flashbacks, hyperarousal, and traumatic stress reactions.

THE GRIEF RECOVERY METHOD

®

The Grief Recovery Method® is a heart-centred, action-oriented program that has been shown to positively impact the healing and recovery for those impacted by loss. It is designed to help you complete the pain, isolation, and loneliness caused by loss of any kind and provides you with tangible tools to move from your head to your heart, to heal what is emotionally incomplete and to move forward in a meaningful way.

SOMATIC THERAPY

Somatic Therapy is a body-based approach to healing that focuses on the connection between mind and body. Working with body awareness and underlying physical sensations helps to transform grief and trauma through healing painful memories, experiences, and emotions that become stored in the body.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY (CST)

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, non-invasive therapeutic technique that focuses on the manipulation of the craniosacral system — the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. When experiencing trauma, grief, or loss it helps your body’s natural ability to release tension, restore balance, and begin to heal and helps calm the nervous system, creating space for deep emotional and physical release.
