We are deeply passionate about helping people heal and recover from significant loss of any kind. Having experienced painful losses of our own, we feel a deep compassion for the mass of emotions and awaited stages of grief that people often experience following a loss.

Although we have been taught that there are many stages of grief, grief is unique and individual for each one of us. There are no typical responses or clear guidelines that will fit your unique grieving experience.

According to The Grief Recovery Institute, grief is the normal and natural reaction to loss. It is the conflicting feelings caused by the end or change in a familiar pattern of behaviour. Over 40 life events can create feelings of grief.
